Hey! Something to read after Fifty Shades that doesn't really suck!
Sexy, emotional-rollercoastery, exceptionally smart and much better written than 99.9% of what you are going to find in the KindlePub Romance-sphere. Or the traditional-pub romance-sphere, for that matter.
99 cents on Amazon. This is a steal, guys. Enjoy!!

I'm all for new books, new authors, etc. And this one was very very enjoyable. And exciting. And sexy. Thanks, Erica!
Matt Sky is a best seller author who writes under the pen name, M. Pierce. He is super hidden and he keeps everything about his life a secret. Nobody knows who M. Pierce really is (the irony isn't lost on me). He meets Hannah Catalano on the Internet and they become writing partners and begin writing a fantasy novel. In order to continue his private life, Matt puts in place the strict rules of not exchanging private information about each other. No location, no real names, no specifics, no nothing. They know each other as Night Owl and Little Bird. Well, things obviously don’t go as planned and rules get broken and then...
Right from the start, I knew I was going to like this one. The start of it just felt so different from what I have been recently reading. I enjoyed the dialogue but also the characters. The book is told from both Hannah’s and Matt’s POVs and you guys should know by now how big of a sucker I am for male POV books. So of course I was sold on that.
The witty banter between Hannah and Matt was enjoyable and their chemistry was off the damn charts. It's so hot I would recommend you not read this in public. The epilogue I cannot even think about right now because I'm afraid my head is gonna explode and I might kill an innocent bunny. It's the one of the worst cliffhangers I have ever experienced.
I'm not sure is M. Pierce is male or female so I don't know whether to say "YOU GO GIRL!" Or "Damn this man can WRITE." But you get the picture.

i'm a Fifty Shades fan and i've read different books with this genre
damn this book is one assholery, feverish, scorching story.
it was so new to me
and i love love it.
"matt sky, your fucked up asshole of a boyfriend"
your dirty talking gives me goosebumps all over my body.(in a very good and hot way)
bout the epilogue.WTF!!!
jaw dropping!
you just fuck me with that M. Pierce
A-freaking-mazing I hated the epilogue though. I need more Matt and Hannah.
Okay Matt is a sexy, dark, mysterious, broken man. Hannah is a young, naive, sexy woman. I love characters like this.
Birthday scene= holy wow----reason enough to read the book even if your not into that kind of thing.

The summary for this book kind led me to believe that this was going to be a very different story. I should have read the reviews before purchasing.
It begins as described in the blurb. Matt and Hannah meet online because they are writing a story together. I enjoyed the beginning...then it went downhill a bit. This book fits in the "If you like 50 Shades" category. The hero, Matt not only has money from being a best selling author he also inherited a ton of money. He's well-dressed, snotty, has excellent taste in music, and dominant tendencies.
I didn't really like Matt's behavior near the end of the book.
All in all not a bad book :)

It was really good and well written, but I hated the ending cliff hanger
Only 3 stars because of the heat factor.
Plot: D
Matthew is a liar and cheater. He stars the relationship with Hannah even though he has a girlfriend. The plot is mostly sex, and lies on Matthew's part. He develops feelings along the way, but always overshadowed by his lies. In the end Hannah didn't even ask for an explanation, just went back with him.
Characters: D
Matthew is a huge jerk a lot of the times. Then other times he's crying. He's paranoid, like really mentally paranoid, and has major Issues (notice the capital I). The only time he's sexy is when he is forceful in bed. Hannah is ok, she just seems verbally stunted. Can't seem to carry on a decent conversation. She lost points by taking Matthew back no questions asked.
Heat:A+
My kindle melted from the filthy talk, the spanking, the butt play, toys, etc. Very descriptive.
The second best part about this story was Lawrence, Matthew's rabbit. It made me smile.

that was....refreshing.
I loved it!
just wow.
it was beyond hot.
the characters were great..this isn't your typical dom/sub relationship...its something new, something different than all of the other books out there.

The chemistry between Matt and Hannah was undeniable. That said, I wish that we'd had the chance to get to know them before they started sleeping together and falling in love. I needed a little bit more of the messaging between them before things got steamy (within the very first page of the book).
Matt is an extremely damaged and flawed character, which I love; however, the way it was done made it hard for me to root for him and Hannah. I have a hard time reading about cheating, and the only consolation was that Matt felt incredibly guilty about what he was doing. It tore him up inside, which made for an interesting character study, but a stressful romance read.
The twist at the very end of the novel came out of left field, and left me scratching my head. I had to read the blurb for the second book to understand what had happened. Just a warning - this book definitely ends with a cliffhanger!
