Great issue. Alexandria is still overrun with what seems like millions of walkers. We learn more about Negan's past and what makes him tick. Him and Rick are actually working together. Mystery group is still watching the events unfold. If I have to venture a guess, I think this is Jadis and the heapsters. I hope the tv show doesn't skip the Whisperers War but it seems as if they might or at least doing things out of order.

This wasn't a mind-blowing, heart pumping, white knuckled issue. But it was good. Very good. There were lots of little moments that are building to something, lots of nuggets of character interaction and development that I so appreciate from this series. I found it very satisfying, and I can't wait for the next issue.

And I mean, Rick and Negan being pals? Literally the best.

So after everything Rick's group has done for the Saviours, they aren't going to help him, but they are going to sit back and pick the city's carcasses? That's disgusting.

The conversation between Rick and Negan was worth the price of purchase alone. The conversation between Heath and Eugene was a cherry on top, and there was even more good stuff around it. I enjoyed this issue more than many recent issues.
