This last book of the series was too long for my liking. And the aftermath, after final conflict, felt unending to me. Overall it felt to me as if everything was thrown in that book: all the loose ends, all the happy endings, all the funny quirky scenes… I think some could have been cut off a bit.
Goddamn, it’s so bittersweet to be finishing this series. I’m so sad but also so **a bunch of other emotions** all at once after that ending.
I don’t feel ready to leave them, but at the same time it’s been SUCH a journey that the sheer addictiveness of these books has me concerned about withdrawal symptoms/issues now.
I’m going to start Darkmore and hopefully it’s terrible so I can let go easier, because if it’s amazing and I continue down this road like I did ACOTAR and I decide to read it all again straight away, I’m pretty sure that’s it for me.

This book was literally everything. It was sorrow, laughter, hope, fear etc. I loved it so much. I hated to see it come to an end but this series was so worth the read.

Alright, so Restless Stars, the grand finale of the Zodiac Academy series—was it everything I dreamed of? Sort of? It’s packed with all the drama, action, and steamy scenes I've come to expect, and it does tie up the story (except I wish more of the THOUSAND plus pages were spent on Tharix and Vard - IYKYK).
Let’s just say my relationship with this book is complicated.
For one, it’s a hefty read—like, “settle in for a few days” hefty. And while I’m all for an epic finale, the plot twists just kept coming, as if there was a checklist to check off every single twist and betrayal possible. Meanwhile, some of the side characters seemed to show up just to remind us they exist or to throw in their own questionable choices. It was... a lot.
I loved the characters’ growth, though, and the romance hit all the right notes (however predictable). But there was still that “will they, won’t they” back-and-forth that was simultaneously infuriating and completely irresistible (AHEM *Caleb and Seth*). You know, classic Zodiac Academy.
Now, the reason for 4 stars instead of 5? The ending. It wraps things up, sure, but I wanted *more*—or maybe just something different to feel fully satisfied. I mean, there were over one thousand pages in this book, and the HEA happens in a mere 20 pages. I think not. Not in my world. Dammit.
So, overall, a solid 4 stars. It’s chaotic, intense, and unforgettable, even if the ending left me scratching my head.
Will I miss my ZA friends? Yes.
But, damn, am I ready for a palette cleanser...and a therapy session.
