This was a long long read, with almost too much side story chapters. What could have been written and told in half the size of book was stretched out and felt dragged.
The story itself will always be a 5* read but I dropped a star purely for the unnecessary length of the story itself.

Overall I love the series and this wrapped everything up wonderfully. I'd like to thank Audible for keeping my reading steam up for it and saving me probably another summer it would have taken to read it. BUT I take part of my thanks backs for Geraldine's voice; her POV is already rough to visually read for me, so another sense was hit hard.
Epilogue spoilers:
While cute, I think it'd be nice to not see every character have 17* children. It seems out of character for some, even if it's "later" in their life, it's still under a decade later?? Like, did they ever graduate?!
ALSO useless side plot characterLyra was just.... forgotten? THAT'S what the sisters hold themselves back from writing more of?! Okurr
