I didn't realise I was THAT far behind in Rick Riordan's books, but when I finally was up to date and understood what was happening, this book was quite fun to read

3,5 ⭐️ I hate Calypso with every fiber in my body and will use my review to say Leo deserves better and Percy “wanted to see just how much misery Misery could take” Jackson would not let that slide.

2019 Reread Update:

3.5

This was very enjoyable when I was reading it, but honestly I finished it last night and can’t remember HUGE chunks of the middle, so it obviously wasn’t anything special. Still dig the ending a lot though.

Uncle Rick does it again. This book is truly a lot of fun—Apollo is bisexual and proud, and I love how out he is. Each character has a clear motive and goal. I think the only flaw with this book is that it does wander a bit before kicking into gear.
