Reread #2:
These characters and audiobook is perfection!

Reread-5 stars- yes I reread this only 10 days later, don’t judging me! This book is Everything and the audiobook is Pure Perfection (and since both are capitalized that means it’s true)

I will read this book so many times I can just see it in the future, and I’m not even mad about it.

5 Million Stars

If perfection could describe a book it would be this! I loved everything about this book, the audiobook made this. Michael Lesley is perfect for all the characters.

I have no words to say how much I adored this book, and all the characters, I haven't been sucked in to a book like this since reading [b:The Hitman's Guide to Making Friends and Finding Love|51805184|The Hitman's Guide to Making Friends and Finding Love (The Hitman's Guide, #1)|Alice Winters|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1564014050l/51805184._SX50_SY75_.jpg|72165079] for the first time.

It started of good and refreshing, but then it just became too much. Most of the characters felt like the stereotypical gay characters from tv. The sex scene was go tho.

Twenty year old Sam of Wilds is the apprentice to the King’s Wizard, Morgan of Shadows. He and his best friends, Garry the hornless unicorn and Tiggy the half-giant, are always getting into trouble, much to the amusement and exasperation of others. Sam doesn’t get along with Prince Justin, even though he’ll eventually be Justin’s wizard. Why is that, you might ask? Because of twenty five year old Ryan Foxheart, the Knight Commander... and Justin’s boyfriend. Sam thinks Ryan is the dreamiest dream to have ever been dreamed, although they barely know each other. During the course of the novel, Sam and Ryan grow closer and sparks fly. It all seems to be going perfectly... until Justin is kidnapped by a dragon, and Sam, Ryan, Gary and Tiggy set out on a quest to get Justin back.

“The Lightning Struck Heart” is the first book in T.J. Klune’s “Tales from Verania” series, and I am absolutely obsessed! Light hearted and hilarious, this book is the perfect read to make you smile and laugh.

If you came here from the House in the Cerulean Sea like I did, you may not be expecting the sheer amount of references to sex that will appear.

Hilarious!

I will never understand how TJ come up with these stories, but I am grateful, because I never have as much fun reading than with a TJ's book.

It's cute, very jokey

Ok, i like tj klune. I really liked"bear, otter and the kid", because i was really invested in bear and otters relationship. But klune has a tendency to, how do i explain this, run a joke into the ground. He's funny, don't get me wrong. But instead of working the joke for 3 beats he always aims for 7. He keeps it up until it's no longer funny and it's become annoying and unrealistic . I've only read 4 of his books but he really pushes the limit on how long something can be fresh and funny in this book the most

Also, there is really only one sex scene in the book, at the very end. Yes it is written pretty hot, but at that point i really didn't think of Sam as a sexual man, it was more like reading about a care bear or a cabbage patch kid fucking. It felt akward.

Dungeons and Dragons meets RuPaul, with a host of surprisingly charming characters. I was constantly embarrassed to read it on the bus but I couldn't put it down.

It's technically book #1 of a series, but can be read as a stand-alone.
