The author states that he uses rhyme in his translation not for accuracy, but as a poetic preference to capture passion. Also, choices in translation rely heavily on Proclus's interpretation of Orphic theology (and of Pythagoras theological interpretation of Orphic theology). It's an interesting read, but I hope to find a more direct/faithful translation.
