This is the first book I’ve read by Flade, but I knew I had to dive in, as soon as I read the blurb. This book definitely lives up to the hype!

It’s a clever blend of love and murder, with the angst and far that creates, as well as the passion that onlytwo peo0le who were best friends first can experience. It is a create story, that flows so well, and definitely keeps you coming back for more.

The characters are created very well, and are really interesting and fun to get to know. They say opposites attract, and these two are opposites in many ways, but so perfectly similar in others. I loved that, and loved that their surroundings were still able to bring happiness or sadness to their lives, just like real life does.

The pace is excellent and overall, this is just a brilliant book. I highly recommend it.

This is the first I have read in this series however found it was easy to read without having read the others but does make you want to go back and read them. Tala and Sawyer have a long history as "friends' having never shown or told each other of their attraction to each, however after leaving Sawyer is back in town and Tala has not work out what she really wants without losing everything and if she will expose her secret. There are plenty of twists, tenses times, red herrings, high and and lows as well as attraction in the right and wrong direction that has you turning the page needing to know if Tala and Sawyer will finally get together or if others will make sure they don't.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
