Almost didn't finish it but I'm glad I did. It had a slow start that didn't capture  my attention at first, but I like deep sea horror so I wanted to give it more of a chance. I loved how the story progressed as well as the art.

Definitely the best of the Hill House books. Uses a few too many short cuts and stereotypes for me to give it the full five stars but it's kind of like an Apocalypse era Carpenter film with the aesthetics of a The Fog era Carpenter, and that my friends is some good shit.

Better than Basket Of Heads by a far sight.

Body/Claustrophobic horror, in the vein of sea thrillers and The Thing especially, are not really my thing...but if they are yours, this book is for you! Also, Gage is my kinda man...hubba hubba. :P

If intense graphic violence and body horror are your kind of thing, then this is the graphic novel for you. Blending sci-fi with Lovecraftian horror, it's the story of a ship that's been missing for 40 years and the team that goes to run a salvage operation. Reminds me of several movies, Alien and Virus come to mind, also John Carpenter's The Thing (there's a couple of in-jokes about the movie in the cast of characters). The artwork by Stuart Immonen was excellent as usual, a very underrated artist.

So-so horror story and some goofy dialogue saved by Stuart Immonen’s (per usual) amazing art.

Color me disgusted, freaked out, and oh soo entertained! Really enjoyed this one shot it has all the things I like in a horror sci-fi book with the added creep factor if deep sea diving that really puts me over the edge!
