Toby - or Tobias! - and Flynn are brought together by a possessed dog, Charlie, whose bark sounds like a chuckle and a serious of unfortunate incidents!
I actually enjoyed the first person style from Toby's pov. His scepticism came over well. Flynn's positiveness and believe in the haunting were endeaing - and ultimately successful.
The parallels were drawn nicely, and 4 people ended up happy.
A short story in a collection. Great coffee break read.
