What an excellent series. Crisp but elegant prose, not as sad as I thought it would be. Was surprised that I cared enough about the side characters that I was sad when they died or nervous when they were in danger. I would have loved a chapter or two from Sima or Sahar's perspective.

Priya and Malini were perfect, of course. Rao broke my heart. Chapter 82? A page and a half of ahrgxhsjdjodb. I'm glad he's got a bestie to watch out for him.

Loved it, even if the end at the Hirana was kinda rushed.

This was a truly phenomenal end to an epic and emotional journey. The characters and their bonds with one another were some of the best I've read in a while. Rao, Bhumika, Priya, Malini—every member of this cast worked to build the wonderful whole of the book. If I had any criticism, it'd be that there were a few times that things came together a bit too cleanly...

Rao's many sidequests for one, but also the ending to some extent

. But, any issues I might've had were eclipsed by the joy I felt reading this. I cannot wait to see what more this author does in the future!
