I wanted to live inside this book. Middlemass is the perfect quaint, idyllic, English countryside village, and seeing Jess build a life there was lovely. The pacing/timeline got confusing at points, but I loved the premise of the little library’s books helping the community and bringing people together. I also enjoyed the broad cast of characters — each was very distinct; I never found it difficult to keep up with the different side stories.
