 I think, everyone who liked this book has a Daddy issue 😅

Anyway, I started this book as audio the last two weeks of school because I needed something not that complicated to listen to while correcting papers

To tell you the jump scare I had everytime Signa (via narrator) shouts or screams or "said with anger" was a true dose wakeup
Better than caffeine 😴 🫨🤯

Now let me get this straight
Death, the Reaper of souls, the walker of night, the shadow king, takes souls but does not know who murdered them and needs a 19 year old to solve the murder mystery and restore balance!!!

Sounds legit 🤣🤣🤣

Well, one book was enough

Wow wow WOW!
I loved this. Loves Signa’s growth so much.
I have to admit I loved All The Stars and Teeth but was underwhelmed enough by the second book to almost not read this one - but I’m SO glad I read this.
Really looking forward to Foxglove, so much so that I preordered!

I enjoyed this book and found it to be an easy, relatively short read after a stint of reading a number of 800+ pagers in a row. 

I thought the description of characters could have been a bit deeper, as I’m still not sure of what most of them look like aside from their eye and hair colour. 

I thought the relationship with her and death was a little far fetched as he’s more than super old and a literal shadow/elemental force, but can still have sex? I dunno. Makes the smutty bits feel a bit weird and cringe?

I’ll read the other books in the series as I enjoyed the gothic style, which is different from the usual fantasy that I read.

I really enjoyed Belladonna! A great selection of characters and a dark and gothic feel to the world and the story. I am eager to see where the series goes from here.
