Before I even begin, I want to tell you that I am in love with this book. I was sent an audio copy, and it was fantastic. No, it was BEYOND fantastic. My first impression was that the voice acting was terrific, only to find out a few words later that the author narrated it himself! NO JOKE, easily the best voice acting I have ever heard! J.R. Young’s voice really brings the story alive. My son, who isn’t even three yet, even enjoyed it based on his voice alone(I highly doubt he understood the story). I, personally, thought the story was very enjoyable as well, the rhyming story flowed very smoothly and kept me interested in what was going to happen. I think it would be suitable for any age group, but kids 6+ would probably understand the story better. The audiobook would be a great road trip soundtrack if you have children. I know I’m going to pop it on during our next long car ride! Once my son is a bit older, I could see myself reading him pieces of this story every night. This very Dr.Suess-ish story will not disappoint! I would recommend it to anyone with children in their house. 5/5 stars!
