I am so disappointed that I didn’t enjoy this book more. Utterly disappointed. Little Stranger wasn’t my favorite book ever, but I still ate up every red flag and trigger and questionable moment. I had high hoped for this as a sequel. But I just didn’t care for some of the choices that were made in the structure and direction of the story.
Overall this was felt like just an average read for me. The writing was decent enough. I did enjoy the story while reading it. I just didn’t personally love all of the choices that were made, and it wasn’t the best story for me.
