Honestly, I thought it was a good read. The confusing aspects throughout the book kept me interested to find out what they meant and what was really happening. I didn't find the novel scary or even very creepy. There were certainly odd and 'creepy' aspects but, like I said, they more-so served to keep me intrigued to learn what it would all lead to. I can see why people would not like the ending, it's a twist and maybe not the most exciting twist but that doesn't really matter to me, it was still a great read.
