I love the more in-depth view into the characters in these short stories! Sure, sometimes they feel a bit much/crazier than usual, but usually the characters were sacrificed for the complicated/super serious plot, so who knows, maybe in Naoko's mind they're intended to be like this? I wish it had been this clear throughout.

As the title says these are just some short stories about the Sailor Scouts. All the tales have a 'genius loci' so they could be considered as an arc. The tales are a lot... cuter and 'younger' than the main Sailor Moon series, I didn't really enjoy them as much but there are some good morals in there for younger readers.

Cute but there was more body image and traditional stuff than I remember there being in Sailor Moon. It was a cute and fluffy read.

Mostly just a time-killer. Enjoyed the Haruka-Michiru cameo, though. (Saya ragu saya bakal pernah puas dengan screen time yang kedua sailor itu dapatkan.)

Clearly I'm not over Sailor Moon, since I'm now reading the short story collections. Originally, I believe these short stories would have been sprinkled in throughout the main story. Combining them in their own volume does not put them at their best light. Some were great, most were meh. I was very over it by the time I got to the last one. Probably better to read these one at a time instead of in one big go.
