Twelve Angry Men was phenomenal, absolutely amazing. I slowly got through this book, analyzing it line after line, and I felt as if I was right there in the jury room with these 12 people. People who had such a heavy burden to present a verdict. It was as if I was right there beside them, wondering myself whether this kid really murdered his father, whether or not I had any doubt in my mind. I had moments of realization, of shock. I was holding my breath until the very end. In fact, I'm already done reading but I feel as if I still can't breath properly. This book...is a masterpiece. 5 stars.
This was an intriguing play! I enjoyed reading the dialogue and thought the premise made for an engaging read.

Wow. This is a really impressive book. I liked the pace and the way the 8th juror kept nudging everyone not to adopt his point of view, but to review the facts again, to try to imagine a way that information could have been overlooked. And I liked the way several of the jurors found clues in the hypothetical scenarios. Another book off my "must read" list.
