Woah!! That was a crazy intense ride! Read it in one day!

Good read. Mystery, but not in the way I expected. Really quick read.

The fact that I don't remember this book well at all says everything. Sure it was interesting and I love a good mystery, but we were more so told what happened rather than showed. I like being able to figure it out on my own.

Emma in the Night is so well written that I found myself gasping at every turn! HOLY COW Wendy Walker is a genius! Well-developed characters, and unexpected, cinematic plot twists. I listened while grocery shopping then stayed in my garage after grocery shopping because I couldn't stop listening. Great narration; what a ride!!!

… the pacing was so slow, the story turned around and around in ways it didn’t need to to be compelling, things came out of nowhere and the way you learn information is tedious and long.. instead of making you live the scene you have to sit through a boring reconstruction:/ wanted to give 3 stars bc in the end it was.. I mean I guess the answers I got were interesting, but I don’t think it deserves a 3
