Same story as the first episode of the series and the comic. I'm sure the writen story is good too I just didn't want to read it again after knowing what would happen.

Aquele momento que avanças para uma leitura a pensar que não será de todo o teu género e acabas por adorar? Foi isso que me aconteceu. Adorei, amei, quero mais.

I absolutely love Hilda's adventures! They're always so cute and action packed. I am always excited to see where her curiosity will lead her and her friends next. However, this book was a bit repetitive to the show. I much preferred watching the show to reading the book. Especially because you'd have to wait a long time for the second novel to come out. Whereas, you can watch all the episodes that are currently out, which go way beyond the book. I will definitely be reading the comic next though! I think that goes even farther than the tv series. Hilda to me, is basically like British Gravity Falls (another show which I absolutely adored!). However, if you do not have Netflix I suppose this book is the next best thing. I highly recommend this series no matter how you watch it, read it, whatever. Its amazing!

I loved the Netflix show so I thought I’d read the book series and it’s great! In fact I’ve been reading it as a bedtime story to my toddler. (He doesn’t exactly listen to me but oh well). I love that the book is close enough to the TV show and if I remember correctly, it adds a little bit too. It’s nice to be able to read it instead of just watch it.

I got this book for free in a 3 for 2 deal having never watched the Netflix show, so I really don't know what right I have to be so disappointed. The plot was really weak, with all of the conflicts resolved immediately and smugly. Redeeming features were the really nice illustrations and the cute fox/deer/dog hybrid side kick
