My first Miss Marple book! A cozy story of quaint village life that gets upset when people find a body in their library. I liked this book for the most part but I must not have listened closely enough to some important parts because we got to the end and I didn’t get it. I was definitely surprised by who did it, but it didn’t all come together in a neat bow for me.

Not the most thrilling Christie mystery, but still a pleasant read. In this case, I had the impression the crime was slightly too unrealistic. All characters, however, were enjoyable. You gotta love Miss Marple and her irony.

Dans le genre "roman de gare", c'est parfait. Ça se lit rapidement et facilement. Or, c'est un peu n'importe quoi et le dénouement à la fin est tiré par les cheveux. Je savais à quoi m'attendre et en ce sens, je n'ai pas été trop déçue. ;-)
