4.5⭐ OMG this took me so unnecessarily long to finish! The plot twist at the end was soooooo worth it tho, i suspected EVERY SINGLE PERSON EXCEPT THIS ONE, Christie is an absolute mastermind
Spoiler
Josie is such a bitch for what she did, just for a bit of money - both pamela and ruby deserved better

When Miss Marple goes on about her spinster tendencies, I laugh but also cry a little inside because I share like 80% of them.
I feel bad that I've been neglecting Marple for her more masculine counterparts. To be fair, most Miss Marple novels don't actually have a lot of Marple in them. This one was no exception.
But this one was really good.
There were quite a decent amount of notable secondary characters in this story, and that pretty much makes or breaks a Christie novel. The culprit also really threw me off. However, looking back over the last several dozen pages, Christie did a really great job at slowly revealing the murderer, rather than Marple just stating it without much build up: Marple isn't as much a lover of drama as the notable bombastic Belgian. Still a great lover of it. Much not as much.
Could anyone truly be?
