I am utterly hooked. Took the book with me to France and spent many a morning forcing myself to put the book down so I could see my friends and family.
Second book in a series about a girl who gets her revenge. Love the main character...love the supporting characters. Dreading reading the last book as it is the last ever.
Read, read, read....but not if you have any papers due, homework to do, or family to entertain.

Let me begin by saying that when the pace quickened, this became a fantastic book worthy of 4 or 5 stars. That being said, Stieg Larsson has to be one of the WORDIEST authors I have ever read and spends an inordinate amount of time explaining things that don't need to be explained. There were a few too many "coincidences" that seemed to be stuck into the story for the sake of plot and didn't seem believable.

Otherwise, I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the last part of the trilogy.

I had fond memories of this book. However, now that I re-read it, it's kind of boring. The first one is much more fast-paced and obviously my preference lies with it.
This moves slow. I don't know why I remembered loving this one.

This book went a long way, for me, to make the main characters much more sympathetic. I ended the last book not really caring for or about either of the two main characters but I heard this book was different than the first and I gave it a shot. I came away very pleasantly surprised and quite enjoyed the read.

Why can’t authors let their characters die???? That’s the part that really disappointed me. It ads so much to the story when u actually let characters die instead of giving them some lame ass excuse as to how they got over the situation and survived.
