Oh dear, my heart! The movie adaptation of this book was very close to the original material, so reading this is like an extended behind-the-scenes version of the movie and reliving my childhood. J.K. Rowling is my queen!

Honestly? The weakest of the bunch I think.

Nothing like getting out of a reading slump with Harry Potter. A fast, still fun read but this felt much more juvenile to me than in the past. Figures - haven’t read it since I was 17!

Reread! Took me quite a while go finish but other than that it was soooo good, I love the friendships in these books, they’re so fun!!

Mindblowing illustrations. I will be hunting down the rest of the illustrated edition copies as a gift to my sanity this year.

Another great performance by Jim Dale! I love his Professor McGonagall voice. I’ve only seen the movies once and it was a few years ago so it was fun to listen and find out who opened the Chamber of Secrets all over again. Also, wow Ron is so much funnier in the books.
