Going into this not knowing who Sudha Murty was, and why I should appreciate her opinion on anything, I found this book a little self-congratulatory and preachy. I feel like the story was more about her than about the people she was serving, and I found those stories more interesting than the structure of her organization. But once I learned about her, and how visionary she was for her generation, I give her more of a pass on this.

There are no words that can describe this book. It's like a warm hug on a chilly day. You can even describe it as a feeling you get when you hear your gram's stories. The sense of peacefulness with a healthy dose of morals and knowledge.

This feels so natural with real experiences. Short and simple. Brought me out of a reading slump.

It was a decent read. Some stories like Three Thousand Stitches, A Life Unwritten were very good and moving, while others were just okay.
This book was a hit and a miss for me.

Enjoyed it more than I thought
