I had to read this one twice and then read some reviews to grasp what's actually going on. I love the illustrations and the clothing choices of the characters. I like that it's a book filled with women. I like the creepiness/ eeriness of the whole thing. I just wish it were easier to follow.

objectively this was fine, just very very confusing. you might like it, but im just not really a “vibes with no plot” kind of guy. the art is gorgeous though, and i love the body language of the characters

A beautifully illustrated book with incredibly evocative character body language and a mystery. I have to read it again

Two stars and a waffle.

It was good, but I'll admit I was distracted when I was reading it and it was disjointed. Which definitely mimics what it feels like to be a teenage girl, especially if you're "weird." I dunno, it might be worth a reread

I think this would make a lot more sense on a re-read, in fact it seems designed to need to be re-read... but tbh I'm not sure I enjoyed it enough to do so, even though it is a quick read.

The beginning is lovely but then it goes off in another direction...

Abstract works of comic books don't always grip me, but I really enjoyed the strong imagery and creative use of facial expressions (iykyk) in this one.
