This was a book that I was supposed to read in a literature course, but that got bumped for other priorities in a busy week. While I didn't particularly enjoy reading it--the writing style just isn't my taste--I know from the discussions we had about it in class that it is an interesting, significant work and I would still recommend it to anyone interested on that basis.
