Really hard to rate unfinished work, but I’m really glad I read lady Susan. The Watsons and sanditon felt like peeking into a notebook though.

in many ways it feels wrong to be adding a rating to books where the author has no idea we’ve read it!! Jane Austen did not want us to see this version of events! but she moves me so much and I will always love the glimpses into her mind. I’ll mourn the rest of Sandition forever and I’m so glad to have read Lady Susan.
