It's Pratchett. And actually, it's really quite good Pratchett. Sometimes I miss the utterly absurdist Pratchett of yore, but this hit a good balance between the dark and angsty Pratchett of recent books and some actual comedy. I think it's having a young, less-jaded character as the main narrator that keeps the tone sufficiently light.
