Not really my type of humour. Or maybe I simply can't appreciate humour. A bit too silly.
2 stars makes it seem like it was a bad book, but it wasn't "bad", it was just average. I didn't really care for the story or the characters, maybe because the book wasn't taking itself seriously.

Maybe I'll try another of his books, just to be sure. But yeah, not a huge fan as of right now.

I like the newly introduced characters, it's nice to read a discworld story about some entirely new places and people. I thought the story was pretty clever and had a lot of recognisable yet exaggerated (obviously, this is pratchett we're talking about) moral dilemmas and commentary. However, it did start to get a bit predictable at some point and some of the bigger "reveals" were entirely anticipated. It would have been nice to have a bit more of an unexpected twist but it was still a very enjoyable read.

Overall it was a good book. I struggled with there being no chapters. Some parts of the book dragged for me. But I enjoyed Terry’s humor.

Great story - really funny and entertaining. A ringworld setting but can definitely be read as stand alone.
