i did not expect to have such a good time with this. i thought the mmc was going to be an alpha-hole and that's not my preference but he wasn't! this was enemies to lovers done pretty well. i enjoyed seeing representation for someone who struggles with gastrointestinal stuff and how that affects relationships and being able to build them with people.

4 ⭐️ I loved loved loved the angst, the well rounded enemies to lovers, the character development, Sebastian!.. it was one of the best well done enemies to lovers I’ve read and I’ve read way more books then I have posted here. My reason for one less star was because the ending is everything!!! and this one was a let down a bit.. and even a bit really isn’t ok. :/ Sara was so maddeningly stuck in her ways even after so many reasons to loosen up and see what was in front of her.. that the ending felt way too rushed. She just flipped after an overheard convo? No way… Seb literally professed his love and that didn’t sway her enough. I wanted more groveling from her.. more of an epiphany of a longer enlightening and then drawn out confession to him. It just felt too rushed after so much sticking her feet in the sand after he laid himself out bare to her time and again
