I got this as a gag gift from a friend and thought, "screw it, I've read worse than Shrek smut." I was wrong. This wasn't great. Now, seeing that it was originally Kindle Vella makes more sense since it felt episodic within the chapters, which isn't as fun to read through. Liona, on a bachelorette party less for her and more for the people she is with, stumbles into Beck's trap to prevent trespassers. The two get cozy.
I agree with another review that this was somehow both TOO Shrek and not Shrek enough. Donkey's character is abhorrent, the language is cringey, and the dialogue is worse. Not my thing, funny as an idea, but not as much in practice.

This was not particularly good but I had a fun time reading it. The writing was very average and there was minimal plot but I thought it was funny so gave it a go.
