A very very well done middle grade book that hits on very hard topics.
Zoe receives a letter from her father who she never met because he is in prison, she is trying to help prove his innocence.
The book covers this difficult topic very well. You falll in love with all the characters and you are captivated to see what will happen next

I'm currently reading From the desk of Zoe Washington by Janae Marks. I'm listening to the audiobook. I'm reading this for the Goodreads book club I'm in called: Middle grade madness.
Really enjoying this so far. Love all the representation in this book. The story itself is also one part very interesting and one part cute. Would give this 4 stars right now.
I really liked this! I liked that this was very diverse in many ways. Zoe had a dad in prison and she had a stepfather she called dad as well. I also really liked that she had different interests, which made the story fun. I did miss some things in this, but can't say exactly what. But this was a very enjoyable read and I highly recommend! Gave it 4 stars.
