Just give me a character-driven, Irish-based, toxic relationship-esque piece of literature and i’m devouring it! I had a hard time putting the majority of this down once I picked it up. This painted the perfect picture of desperation. The main character experiences a string of emotions that starts with losing herself in someone only to later desperately try to bring her old self back in self-destructing, deep-rooted, personal ways. Neurotic and emotional, I loved it.

she was insufferable, but unfortunately relatable a few times. also i really loved the first half of it, thinking it would become one of my favorites. however, i wasn’t very impressed with the last half which kind of ruined it for me.
