Well my lack of trust in men definitely hasn’t been lowered after reading this one. Also for a girly who ain’t so sure about the marriage and kids thing, Rachel really didn’t sell me on it. Her favorite days were when she was without her kids and husband. The dual timelines really kept my interest peaked and I actually couldn’t put it down because let me tell you, this book is chocked full of DRAMA. Every chapter has a new twist. The ending was not chill. Truly believe she should have ended up with herself because both guys in her life royally screwed her over but alas.

the thing with poorly written books is i expect them to at least be entertaining. every character in this book is  irritating and I had half a mind to dnf.

4.5

Rachel’s now famous high school ex-boyfriend and her are brought into the media spotlight after private photos and letters between their past selves are sold to a tabloid. The turmoil between her and her husband Dan increases when the public attention on her past brings back old feelings and a sense of jealousy.

I really enjoyed Love, Me because it’s not just a fairy tale ending, and the main character has flaws and issues they have to work with. The books speaks to human mistakes and errors within relationships, working on forgiveness and trying to overcome just being a real person with difficult decisions to make.

Definite 4.5 stars for me. It’s a cute read. It almost made me angry because I thought
Rachel was just going to dip on her husband and leave for the movie star without working on herself and her family, but I was pleasantly surprised that that wasn’t the case, as it seems to be with most of these cute romance books.

Also book has a little spicy. Not a lot, but it works.
