“But the games? The ones the boys had played growing up, the ones I had played? Those games hadn’t made us extraordinary. They’d showed us that we already were.”

Obsessed, I know I have said this about the other two books in the trilogy but honestly I am obsessed with the entire series. This books was so good. It gave us so much insight into Tobias Hawthorne's decisions and the genuine feelings of the Hawthorne brothers. I think this book also gave Avery the perfect chance to prove that whe is capable of handling all of the responsibility and obligations that come with the Hawthorne fortune. Im also a suckered for chess analogies so I absolutely ate up this entire book. I need to get my hands on the spin off books immediately. If you have any interest in puzzle books, mysteries, or mind games you have to check out this series!

Najlepsza ze wszystkich

The final book was so enjoyable. The way the story and the characters came together was *chefs kiss*. I couldn’t put it down. It was fun and fast paced. This book, alone, made the series absolutely worth the read. I wonder why the author didn’t disperse the storyline a little better throughout the series, though, because this book was heavy with information.

SPOILER
My one qualm is that it felt like the love triangle was forced in this book. I understand the necessity for it early on to explain the dynamic between Grayson and Jameson and Emily. But by this point…… Jameson and Avery are in love and like… thriving??? It felt like that storyline was unnecessary and added nothing important to the remainder of the story.
