This book was amazing and had the worst ending for the last book in a series. Jen has no bussiness making a book so great then leaving it off in a place that obviously needs a new book.

i dont rlly know how to feel about this book... i felt like the plot was all over the place and i found it pretty hard to follow, and the final gambit jst didnt compare to book 1 & 2? i was expecting crazy twists like in book 2 but this book just felt so underwhelming and predictable. plus the family tree was SO confsuing and maybe im just slow but itwas so hard to eep up with. maybe i have comprehension issues but im genuinely still so confused about what avery did witht he money like i feel like it wasnt expained too well? this book had a slow start, whcih i dont mind but honestly i genuinely do not remember what happened for 2/3 of the book. do not get me started on grayson. i loved his character SO MUCH in book 1 and 2, but in book 3 (i still love him) the author decided to do a complete 180 on his character to make jameson look better to justify them ending up together. i hated it. it was so out of character for him, and he didnt get his own happy ending..

The previous book ended in a cliffhanger, and months later when I started this one, I really didn't remember all that had happened previously. In particular, some of the relationships between characters. That being said, it was still fun to listen to this one and hear how it all ended.
team grayson.
pippin you have until Tuesday, September 6 at 2:20pm Pacific Standard Time to read this book before my two word review goes out and reveals the truth. best of luck.

This was a really great wrapping up of the main series conflict! I absolutely loved Barnes writing and the riddles she had throughout each book. I definitely did not see the ending coming and that’s a big pro for me with the amount of books I read it can get a bit predictable.
