I know most people like this book the least because Edward isn't there for the majority of it.
I like it for that reason. I like Jacob's character. (I'm holding up my shield and cowering as I write this.)
I agree with Ms. Ice -- this relationship is much more healthy. It's more equal. They are friends, not eachother's brands of heroin.
I appreciate how Stephenie Meyer is rewriting her favorite classics, and how she mentions her inspiration in the books. Pride and Prejudice = Twilight, Romeo and Juliet = New Moon, Wuthering Heights = Eclipse, The Merchant of Venice = Breaking Dawn

I feel like my 3-star rating is pretty generous, but it's for nostalgia's sake... I also did not know the line: "Bella! Where have you been loca?" was NOT IN THE BOOK. I feel so stupid.

3.5. Almost 600 pages of Bella and Edward being completely unhinged and over dramatic. And I loved it
I will never get why being a werewolf is such a terrible fate. Literally the only bad thing is anger control that they say gets better with him and the hearing each others thoughts in wolf form. But all too much. Jacob and Bella calm down meow meow.

A great book, much like her first. Though I found the story a bit dull until the later chapters.

Not *quite* as good as Twilight, but I still read it in only one day. Actually, about 8 hours. Moves the story forward slightly.
