Ένα βιβλίο που ο πρωταγωνιστής δεν είναι λευκός άντρας

My Readathon2018 so far

This was so very good... so very confusing. I loved the story and the idea. Very glad I picked it up.

Very interesting plot idea, poor execution in my opinion. Maybe the author’s writing style just wasn’t for me. I felt she could have written a more compelling story in half the pages. The dramatics she uses in her writing got old quickly.

Great idea, stellar execution.
“Every human grief you will ever experience has been experienced by humans living and humans yet to come. There is no readiness for it, nor no easing of the pain, but ma’am, for what it’s worth, I think you should know that all of humanity that was, is and will be is with you now, by your side.”

Possibly the most intriguing premise of the year - and the author goes and throws in two of them! Finishes a little less tightly than it could, but otherwise compelling and hugely thought-provoking.

I like the concept but story isn't moving. I've seen a thedt and a bunch of traveling that never seems to stop. It lost my interest. I'll check out her other book still though.

I was so looking forward to reading this as the concept is still so interesting to me. Unfortunately I had to DNF. I really tried to get into the story and was almost halfway through but I’m simply not motivated to read it, the plot was unclear and all over the place, and I didn’t get on with the style of writing at some points. I wish I liked it. I can see why some people do but it’s just not for me. Amazing concept and lovely thoughtful writing, but disappointing plot wise.
