I read this after reading the Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and was disappointed by the contrast in these. This was hard to finish and had too many minute details that didn’t really matter or paint a picture. The ending was anti climatic. Typically love Taylor Jenkins Reid but not this one.
My least favorite TJR. I didn't have a lot of empathy for these well-to-do siblings, so I didn't really care.

I loved that this was told with a duel timeline and the little references to Daisy Jones and Evelyn Hugo.
All the characters felt so real and this book was such a rollercoaster. I went from loving to hating a certain character within about 20 pages... All the relationships within this book were realistic and messy and I loved it.

i love how this book made me feel so many things. i was desperate at some points and so proud at others. i love how i have never hated a book character as much as i hate mick and how i have never felt so proud of a book character as i felt for nina. i love how this book creates its story from the term of fire. i love how in the beggining you're not sure if you'll actually like the book and end up loving it !! i am also grateful for how taylor remembered my country, portugal, because it's a country most people decide to forget that it exists, i am forever thankful for that <3
