I have had this on my bookshelf for over a decade and figured why not read this on vacation. Forgive my review, for I’m highly aware that I am not the intended audience, but come on!!! This book was genuinely intriguing until the end - lame lame lame random ending!!

But I do love a good haunted doll story.

This was one of my favorite books when I was a kid. I think I read several books by this author, but this one was my favorite. Simple chapter book with enough spellbinding suspense to keep me enthralled until way past by bedtime.

Amy’s mom made me want to slam my head into a wall repeatedly 💜
I wasn’t going to rate this because I was certain it was middle grade but I’m a bit shocked to see it considered young adult!

Aunt Clare, Amy, Louann, Ellen, Kathy are the characters in this book. This little girl Amy finds a Doll house in her grandmothers house and finds it very interesting however her grandmother hates it. Amy see's that the dollhouse is moving and thinks it is trying to tell her something. She has a birthday party and tells everyone about it, and her grandmother gets mad she is still playing with it. Amy tries to prove to her grandmother that she isn't playing with the dollhouse it is moving on its own! I would recommend this book to anyone who likes creepy, suspenseful mystery type books.
