Is this a bad book? No, but something about it just didn't work for me. I liked it well enough but I wanted a little more from it. I've only read two Harlan Coben books and I didn't really like either of them. I've heard so many great things about him, but maybe I'm just not compatible with his work. I'm not sure. However, I did finish it and I did want to know what happened so I guess its not all bad; its just not good. Oh well.

Not completely unentertaining but required a great deal of suspension of disbelief that any of these things were happening in what is supposed to be the real world. Equal parts suspenseful, amusing and eye-rolling. As unrealistic as some of the behaviors seemed - especially those of the main character - when the mysteries are eventually revealed, all I could do is utter, "What?"

An amusing and quick read but TV movie-of-the-week sort of fare.

Mindless, but really entertaining. I'd like to read another Harlan Coben book that has a slightly tighter plot and a slightly less insufferable main character

Great book as usual. Great ending as nice story line.

It was an intriguing premise but unfortunately I was let down by many things. I didn’t care for the love story, maybe it’s just my taste but I felt it was way too cliché - and I didn’t mind Twilight for God’s sake. I found the character of Natalie to be one dimensional. Not to mention that I couldn’t care less about the main character, I couldn’t establish any emotion towards him, except disgust when he actually spoke about Natalie, I repeated the “blargh” sound - I’m extremely mature! And I actually cheered when he almost got killed. I just wanted the book to be over, I invested too much time on it.

It was good. It reminded me of the last Coben novel I read, with the same plot line.
