Wonderful! Exquisit! A beautiful glimpse into the wizarding world, the lore, the tales, the excitement shared by the young; this book allows your scope for imagination to reach far beyond the ordinary and explore what these tales really teach us about the Muggle world!

This audiobook was so fun! It was narrated by some of the Harry Potter cast (which is the main reason I listened). Fun magical fairytales ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

i thought it was really cute that she published the stories she talked about in the Harry Potter series. they were a little dark and kind of odd but they were cool in how they let you imagne that these would be the tales wizard mothers would read to the're children. they are in a way like our cinderella and sleeping beauty.

After the detailed world created in Harry Potter I was definitely expecting more. While Dumbledore's notes were great to read, the stories themselves were missing something. Alas, they are merely tales and nothing more.

This is the book Hermoine got from Dumbledore and it's filled with a few small fairy tales for magical children. The stories are fun to read and they all have some moral to them. A good small little extra for the Harry Potter fan.

I first read this back in 2010 and after almost 10 years I could only remember the last story (mostly because of how significant it is for the Harry Potter books). Rereading this as the illustrated version... I'm pretty sure I will never forget any of the stories ever again!

I love these stories, they are such fun. I also loved the little note at the front about the author, it makes it almost feel even more real which is so great. The illustrations are gorgeous and fit the story really well (though there are some bloody ones, be warned haha!).

If you enjoyed the stories a lot, I think it is worth it to invest in the illustrated edition. If you didn't care for the stories that much, I don't think the illustrated version is going to change that.
