J.K. Rowling is truly an amazing writer. This is a simple throwaway book, but it was a lot of fun to read. The stories feel as though they could really be from the bedtime stories of young wizards. But what really makes this book enjoyable is Dumbledore's end notes to each story. They were a treat and I looked for to each of them.

I wished it was longer, but I loved reading the stories and the commentary afterwards.

The illustrations of Chris Riddell make this even more amazing.

Meh. Quite shallow IMO.
