This is an amazingly intricate story, with a wide cast of characters and multiple plots running together. I love the detail that the two 'competitions' between the rival gangs are narrated as if by a sports commentator -- it gives an added dimension to something that might otherwise come off as a rule-less brawl.
The ending is more of a cliffhanger than I liked, because now I have to try and get the other two books in the trilogy.
