I liked the writing style. The footnotes are interesting, but bothersome when read on a phone. I suggest it be "read" as an audiobook.
But the story.....boring. I had to force myself to finish it.

Yes. Loved. 100% - I was also read the Annotated version from LitJoy at the same time, so glad I got this version <3 I love all the little drawings and behind the scenes from Jay.
I really liked that the World Building was done in the footnotes - but it was hard to listen to in the audiobook, but reading, definitely I prefer this way better.
Loved everything about this. It was a little bit of all your favourite YA series.
Harry Potter. Hunger Games. Divergent. Even Dune! I think there were more but can't remember.
Again, my biggest problem was their ages.... they should have been aged up to MINIMUM 18.
But it's fine, it's fine...
Mia is such a badass. We need way more of this. Need way more badass women. (Also even more badass that it's written by a man) ;) - I don't think I could ever write a book with a male pov and do it faithfully.
I usually have a hard time following Fantasy books via audiobook but this was so easy to grasp and so much easier to understand - not because it's "YA" there's nothing about this that's YA except their ages. I hate that I have to wait for the library to send me "Godsgrave" - can't wait to see what happens in the next one. The epilogue made me go... "Heh?"

My edition is 600 pages long lol, dare I say I hated this translations, anyways. I'm giving this book 4 star because what a fucking waste of character. Two of one the most insteresting characters died in this book and it made me really angry. I liked the writing style a lot and the cat was amazing I loved him so much! The worldbuilding is also good, but I wanted more, and that makes me excited for Godsgrave because I feel like I'm gonna find it there. Mia is such a complex and strong character, but I wished there were more character development for her. I'm excited to read the second book.
