It was okay. It wasn't terrific, but it wasn't bad either. I would sort of like to know what happens next. I think that the ending sets up some interesting possibilities. It also leaves unexplained the main character's immortality. Is this maybe magic realism? No one seems to find it all that amazing that this guy keeps getting killed and surviving.
