I'm not the biggest fan of the new character Rairi but I liked what they were going for. THe whole "makeup as armor" makes sense for this kind of series.
Other than that, this continues to be pure shoujo fluff of the highest variety!

I love this series. The artwork is beautiful and the narrative takes familiar themes and morals of monster stories, and kaiju, in new directions. Brilliant, fun, and beautiful stuff.

Another great volume! I really enjoyed the new character that was introduced in this volume, and I love what they are bringing to the story. The cliffhanger at the end of this volume has me incredibly excited for the next volume though!
