The book is divided into several sections, beginning with an introduction to the concept of ikigai and its significance in Japanese culture. It then delves into the four key components of ikigai: what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for. Through anecdotes, research findings, and practical exercises, the authors guide readers on a journey of self-discovery to identify their own ikigai.
Furthermore, the book explores how finding one's ikigai can lead to a sense of fulfillment, purpose, and resilience in the face of life's challenges. It offers insights on how to integrate ikigai into various aspects of life, including work, relationships, and leisure activities.
Overall, "Ikigai" serves as a roadmap for living a meaningful and joyful life, drawing inspiration from the wisdom of the people of Okinawa and the principles of Japanese philosophy.

I vaguely remember the contents of this book being a Netflix show. Anyway I learned something new — anti-fragility.

A little slow. But I think maybe that's part of the teaching as well. My eastern upbringing makes me want to skip to getting the information fast which speaks directly to the author's subject. I did enjoy how it had exercises, diet implementations etc. Very interesting.
