I absolutely love The Shifting Fae Series!
As with the other two novels, I couldn't put it down and I had to read it until I finished! I loved the storyline that much.

Like I said in my previous review for Starlit City even though these novels form a series you can read them as standalones.

As stated above I absolutely loved The Eternal Sea. I found it so refreshing to read about shifting Fae that I haven't come across before. These stories are very unique and the fact that it can be read without prior knowledge but still keeps the connection to the other books works out so well.
I loved Leon, he gave me all the pirate feels and though he was described nothing like the well known pirate to grace our TV shows, I couldn't help but place him in the role whilst I read. I was amused by his shifting abilities and thought it was adpt that he would be a water shifter. Leon was created superbly.
Havanna was great character too and I loved how she developed and her relationship with Leon was just hot without it being spicy, though I did at one point think it was gonna get heated.

As with the other 2 novels I really enjoyed the world building, it was richly described and created a wonderful image whilst reading. The adventure and action took on a different role in this novel but it still linked back to the Darkthings.

I think it's set up book 4 perfectly and I can't wait to see what's next and if the big fight will finally come.
